Water Ambassadors Educating Children about Water

The Water Ambassadors Kids club was an initiative of Waitakere City Council. It ran up until November of 2010 when the merging of Waitakere city into Auckland super city meant the club was forced to shut down. It may return in a new form later on.

The club was aimed at children aged 5-10 years who were interested in learning about the environment and water preservation. Members received welcome packs and information and were given opportunities to meet one another from time to time.
